广州港湾工程设计院,直属中国中国港湾建设(集团)总公司第四航务工程局。自一九八四年建院以来,走快速的发展之路,已逐步成长为一间华南地区主要的提供水运工程咨询、勘察、设计的工程服务的咨询公司,积聚了丰富的经验,在国内外一贯保持有完美的高质量服务的记录。

　　二十年来,本院设计的大小港口工程和工业与民用建筑工程共200多项;勘查工程共70余项.设计的业务范围,从地域上看,涉及到广东、广西、福建、海南四省；辐射到澳门、孟加拉、苏丹等国家与地区。从类型上看，包括了煤炭、石油、液化气、件杂货、集装箱、客运、客货运、海上游乐、船厂等各种专业化港口泊位和通用泊位；工业民用建筑设计包括了民用住宅、工业厂房、图书馆、酒楼宾馆等类型。从规模上看，涉及年吞吐能力200万吨以上的港口工程项目已有10余项；万吨级至八万吨级码头达10余座。

　　我院还承担和参加了国家标准、部颁标准的编制、研究和修订工作，受到上级主管部门的好评。

　　Guangzhou Harbour Engineering Design Institutee is an affiliate of CHEC Guangzhou Port Construction Company under China Harbour Engineering (Group) Company.Since its establishmeng almost 20 years ago,it has gone through a road of fash development towards a leading role in the provision of consultant services in port & harbour engineering,having amassed profound exprience,maintained an excellent record of high quanlity services for clients in China and abroad.

　　For past 20 years this institute has undertaken consulting and design services for more than 200 port engineering,civil & industrial building projiects and also has made engineering exploration for more than 70 projects ,in mainland China and other regions and foreign countries including Macaou,Bangladesh and Sudan.The port engineering projects are diversified in nature from general to special purpose terminals, berths and quays of coal,oil products,liquid gas, bulk cargo,container,passengers and marina etc.

　　In addition, this institute has been actively engaged in study,drafting and revision of some of Chinese national and trade standards & codes of port engineering under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Connunications of China,having earined a reputaiton from relevant government authorities.
